1. Why This AUP Exists
kirim.dev is an API platform for Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. This policy explains what you may and may not do when using it, so that your WhatsApp Business account stays in good standing with Meta, other kirim.dev users are not affected by abuse of the shared infrastructure, and message recipients are not harmed.
2. Prohibited Content and Messaging
You may not use kirim.dev to send:
- Spam — messages to people who have not opted in to be contacted
- Fraud — phishing, scams, impersonation of a brand or person, get-rich-quick schemes
- Malware — links or files intended to compromise a recipient's device or accounts
- Illegal goods or services — controlled substances, weapons, or anything unlawful to trade in the recipient's jurisdiction
- Illegal gambling or lending — unlicensed gambling, or lending/collection that breaches applicable law
- Adult content — pornography or sexually explicit material
- Violence & hate — incitement to violence, hate speech, harassment, or intimidation
- Deception — deliberately false or misleading information intended to defraud or manipulate
- Rights violations — infringing copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other personal rights
3. Consent and Opt-out Are Your Responsibility
Because you own the WhatsApp Business account, you are responsible for complying with the WhatsApp Business Policy, Messaging Policy, and Commerce Policy. Make sure each recipient has given permission (opt-in) before you message them, provide an easy way to opt out, and honor opt-out requests promptly.
4. Prohibited Technical Practices
You may not:
- Attempt to access another kirim.dev user's account, numbers, credentials, webhook payloads, or logs
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract kirim.dev's source code
- Deliberately overload the API or evade rate limits (for example, by rotating keys or numbers to exceed what Meta grants you)
- Share, sell, or leak your API keys so that others send on your account
- Use automation to create fake accounts or abuse the free trial
- Resell kirim.dev in a way that disguises the origin of the service
- Point webhook deliveries at an endpoint you do not control, or use kirim.dev to attack third-party systems
5. About Bans / Suspensions from Meta
Meta decides the status of your WhatsApp Business account and may limit, suspend, or block it under its own policies, with or without notice and with or without a stated reason.
kirim.dev has no control over those decisions and cannot:
- Reverse a ban or suspension Meta has imposed
- Appeal on your behalf
- Tell you the specific reason behind Meta's decision
- Speed up Meta's review
- Compensate you for losses arising from Meta's decision
If your WhatsApp account is banned or suspended, the path to resolution is directly with Meta through the WhatsApp Business Help Center.
6. Consequences of a Violation
If we find indications of a violation of this AUP, we may:
- Issue a warning and ask for an explanation
- Temporarily suspend the account during an investigation
- Restrict or rate-limit specific features
- Permanently terminate the account for serious or repeated violations
For deliberate or wide-reaching violations, we may terminate immediately without warning. Subscription fees for the current period are non-refundable in the case of a violation.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a kirim.dev user is violating this AUP, or if you received an unwanted message sent through our service, tell us at abuse@kirim.dev with the relevant details so we can follow up.
